It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…so why haven’t you decorated yet? Be inspired to deck the halls – and the rest of the home – with our festive, room-by-room guide to embellishing your home with the latest seasonal Homewares, Furniture and Bedding.
Make a Grand Entrance
What better way to welcome family and friends to your home this Christmas, than with a luxurious wreath adorning your front door? Another gorgeous seasonal touch to your entrance, hallway or fireplace is our set of two mischievous reindeer – just watch faces young and old light up when they see Rudolph and Prancer out to play!
Dine in Festive Style
‘Tis the season to create a sense of occasion for your festive feast by dressing up your dining table in true holiday spirit. Feeling creative? Place a collection of twigs (sprayed any colour to match your decor – white, silver or gold always looks good) in a tall vase or jar. Decorate these with a careful selection of dazzling tree decorations for a contemporary, rustic look. Tree ornaments also make a lovely feature of your napkins when used in place of napkin rings. To really set the yuletide scene, add a beautiful tabletop tree to the dining table, bookcase or buffet. Don’t forget to provide extra seating for family and friends – give your guests the best seats in the house by mixing and matching dining chairs for a contemporary look.

Create a Christmas Comfort Zone
As far as the kids are concerned, the lounge room is where the real holiday magic happens. It’s where they dash early on Christmas morning in the hope that Santa has left them a surprise, or two, under the tree. Once you have the tree decorated it only takes a few simple decorative details to evoke the festive spirit in the lounge room. Add a lighthearted touch by stringing up our whimsical gingham advent garland featuring 24 pouches for treats. Fill glass vases with candy canes or christmas baubles, decorate a shelf or mantle with a sweet ornamental bird house or angel tealight and adorn door handles with tree decorations. On a more practical note, if space is tight and you’re in need of an extra bed, a luxuriously comfy Aerobed is the perfect solution. After use, simply roll it up and store away in the cupboard until your next gathering.
Enjoy Festive Fun With the Kids
Your little ones know that Santa Claus is coming to town so let them have fun counting down the days with their own novelty advent calendar truck, angel, or ‘Hokie’ Chalkboard Star or Reindeer. Too cute! Take time out for a little Chrissie craft and create a gorgeous mobile from tree decorations to hang above Junior’s brand new big bed. Oh, and if your kids have written an extensive wish list to Saint Nick, it’s worthwhile considering extra storage space in their bedroom to accommodate all their new toys.
Head Outdoors This Christmas
Forget about chestnuts roasting on an open fire and dreaming of a snow-white christmas. On December 25th we’re all about barbecues and blue skies, so get into the spirit of the season and transform your outdoor area into a festive holiday haven! An extension dining table is a great way to accommodate a crowd and be sure to play the perfect host by adding extra chairs. When night falls, add a little Christmas sparkle with twinkling tealights placed on the dining table or even strung from a nearby tree branch. And, if it’s a balmy night, invite guests to sleep under the stars on the full-body comfort of a convenient Aerobed Active Mattress.
